Here’s another installment about how our regional military infrastructure helps train our troops. The idea is to prepare our military men and women to survive in battle.

According to Lt. Col Tony Bryant at Fort Chaffee, approximately 474,000 people have trained at Chaffee. Sgt. BB’s notes say this year, but that figure could actually be for 2007.

These troops come from across the U.S. and many branches of service, including Army, Air Force, Navy SEALS, active duty, Army Reservists, National Guard units.
